Best Thin Bezel 144hz Monitor

This is going to be a hard one, at least that's what I found out

my current monitor: https://www.amazon.com/HP-LA2205wg-Widescreen-Screen-Monitor/dp/B002RW08EC

So I am planning to build my Ultimate Desk Setup (Items in the File)

But I am having a tough time looking for a good gaming monitor. I first started out looking for the best thin bezel, 24-27 in, vesa compatible, 60Hz monitor. I came up with these two competitors: https://www.amazon.com/AOC-i2777fq-27-Inch-Monitor-Bezel-less/dp/B01BMB3ANE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1469633946&sr=8-1&keywords=AOC+I2777FQ , https://www.amazon.com/Asus-VC239H-Widescreen-Backlight-Monitor/dp/B0186NJGSO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1467334528&sr=8-1&keywords=VC239H (looking to do a dual monitor setup). The problem is i'm a hardcore gamer. I want an edge wherever I can get one. So 60Hz was not going to do. (obviously, if the 120Hz or 144Hz monitor is outrageously out of budget; say no more than 300, then i will have to make do with 60Hz)

So, The bottom line is I need help looking for a 120-144Hz, Thin Bezel, Vesa Compatible, low response time monitor that wont cause my wallet to explode

Thanks in advance for all the time and effort put into looking for a monitor

  • 6 months later...

The Dell gaming S2417DG is a good monitor, I've been using it for a while in a 2 monitor configuration. The resoultion is also really high at 1440p. All combined with slim bezel, 144hz and G-Sync makes for a great monitor.

Check out the guide I got it from here:

i can Recommend it too.

However, it has some Color Banding in very dark shades, which might be because of the Gamma issue.

But it's not that bothersome to me, except i watch bad bitrate youtube trailers or something.

But for pure Gaming... super awesome, if you have an Nvidia card.

Using mine with a GTX 1060.
