Noppoo Choc Mini(Cherry MX Blue){Many Pictures}

This is my first keyboard review.

I am going to review the Noppoo Choc Mini, which is a mechanical keyboard from Noppoo. It comes in a variety of Switches:

The Choc Mini has 84 keys instead of the 87-key tenkeyless standard, which makes it a pretty small keyboard.(The red ESC-key is extra, it comes with the original ESC key)

My thoughts:

To begin with, this is my first mechanical keyboard. I bought the Cherry MX Blue version, mostly because of Linus. I have used the keyboard for 4 hours and I must say I am completely amazed and satisfied. Really happy!

It has really nice sticky feet, the keyboard doesn't move if you don't want to. (The grey part of the feet is rubber and not plastic.)

I like the layout. It is small and compact. I don't feel like I have made any compromise because with the use of the FN(Function Key) I have a lot more flexibility than what I would have with a different tenkeyless keyboard because it has sideway buttons that can be accessed through the FN Key.(Clearly labeled at the pictures below.)

Another cool feature is that the Caps Lock, Num Lock and Scroll Lock Keys have a blue led underneath them that lights up when they are "On".

Conclusion:

To conclude, I really like this keyboard. It has a very nice premium feeling. The only downsizes I can think about it are:

1)The fact that it doesn't have a wrist wrest. But this can also be an advantage because the "aftermarket" wrist wrests are in my opinion better than the intergrated ones because you can choose whatever you like.

2)The cable is not braided, but I am cool with it because I don't have a cat or any kind of animal in my house that can damage it.

Hope this review was enjoyable and helped you in some way. Excuse me if I made any mistakes during the review. Now I am going to leave you with some glamour-like shots(I failed) I tried to take. Here they are:

POM is weird at the beginning but it gets better and you get used to it. Also I think it helps(at least for me) type faster.

Nice review. I've always been interested in this keyboard because I love how the F keys are in line with the number keys.

I like the old brownish look very much, too bad it does not come with a 105-iso key layout. Anyways good review.
