What HDD?

So i need a hdd that will let my pc run for many days on end before i restart it! would a wd blue be okay or do i need something special?

MY RIG

I5 6600k

16gb Corsair vengeance 2666mhz

MSI Gaming X 1070

WD blue 2tb

samsung 850 evo 250gb

EVGA supernova G2 650w

Nothing special. Your memory is more important for long uptimes than your storage.

Yeah the blues fine, SSD would be better obviously if you can afford it, get a red if you want better reliability at a good price

Would that HDD be holding your OS or would it be a secondary storage drive?

 

WD Blue should work fine but it would depend on waht workload you will be putting on that system.

 

WD Black is designed for more extensive and heavier workloads and, depending on what you are doing on your system, may be a better choice.
