So it arms? And what's this about a light on your ESCs?

yeah, it seems to!

And I'm talking about damped light, the setting that makes your escs do regenerative braking when you lower the throttle.

Oh lol I don't know anything about that, I just bang the sticks around until all my batteries are hot and puffy, then I go home.

Well. I was having a ball of a time with the Armattan F1-5 Acro flying FPV today, but I managed to crash it, and I tore out the XT60 from the board. We will have to see if the pads are still there, or if I'm going to have to replace the board. I think that at the very least, I could actually solder a wire over to one of the pads that the ESCs are using. That should work, right?

Oh well. It was a hell of a time. I was flying around after a couple of other planes that were in the air at the time (they were chasing eachother themselves) and I had a really cool flyby where I flew past one of the planes about 2 feet away. Talk about a thrill!

Now I just need to go out and grab a quad that I can use with my Runcam. Maybe I'll just grab a new frame and FC, and move everything over. We will see.

You need to post pictures of your gear!

And I need to find people to fly with, that sounds like a hell of a time.

Shit. You're right. Maybe I'll grab some photos tomorrow!

Do you also want to see some of the broken planes that I have around? (I've only got one or two broken ones, but they're pretty fun to look at.

Was into the nitro airplanes back in mid and late teens pretty hard. Then life got in the way and I sold them all, though I have been thinking of getting back in. Really been watching these guys and liking the cheap flying options they produce.

I am dying to try to make some of those foam board aircraft! It was always such a fear in the back of your mind to fly something that took months to build and then could so easily be destroyed if it went down. These things though hell pull the electronics out and stuff in the next one and fly some more!

So here are all my racing RCs.

Buggy is a Losi 22 3.0, stock setup with 9.5T motor and Tekin RS Pro ESC

The 2WD SCT is a modified HPI Blitz ESE, sway bars in the rear and front and it rides VERY low. 9.5T motor, LRP ESC.

The 4WD SCT is a Team Associated SC10 4X4 Factory Team with Tekin 4000KV motor and Tekin RX8 ESC

The shots on track are of my SC10 4X4 a few weeks ago at club race.

If your going 2WD i pick the traxxas, far superior to the latrax.

As another option which is better than either of those...  The Team Associated SC10 is 199USD and the brushless one is 299USD. Beats any slash. Put on some RPM arms on the front and rear and you wont ever break a part.

Hmm, okay. It's a slash using the Velinion system or whatever they call it? Their website may have more information on the matter.
