Get an R9 380 or 380X

And stay away from that CX psu, get something like an EVGA 500W

Hello, I am thinking of making my first self-built gaming computer.

The parts that I am using are listed here http://pcpartpicker.com/p/XsPbnQ

I would appreciate if anyone can help me to understand if this is good for what I am doing.

The build will be to target 1080p gaming with a budget of $800.

If you believe this build is not good for the intended purpose, please use the website I did.

I really do want to have a proper gaming rig, and any ideas you people have for under $800 would be appreciated.

(all money is in USD)

you can either use the leftover budget for a cpu cooler (hyper 212 evo) or you can get an r9 380X for better gaming performance

i would take the 380X, the intel stock heatsink is fine (based on using it on my i5 6600)

edit: also, you have mATX board in ATX case, might wanna get an ATX board or an mATX case, just for looks :P

mATX case = fractal design core 1000 usb 3.0

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Why a 960? a 380x outperforms for the price.

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

unless it gets really hot where you live even a stock cooler should keep a 6500 cool enough. as far as PSUs go, handy list linked or look up reviews and make sure they're from decent places
