Program to sync WD My Cloud to internal disk

Go to solution Solved by TechnoWizX,

I'd like to know if there's a program that can sync the contents between my WD My Cloud 4TB and to a local disk of an equivalent capacity inside my system, so that changes of the unit are reflected over the LAN. I'm beginning to tire of the manual copy operations I have to do every now and then to keep the contents of the unit up-to-date.

Can't use a cloud service, as there is no permanent Internet connection into the network. All changes will take place on a LAN.

My Cloud is using the latest firmware, and OS is Windows 10 64bit.

Hey there LunaP0n3,

The WD My Cloud works pretty good with WD SmartWare and it offers continuous or incremental backup options. I'd try that and see if you need anything else. You do have third-party support on the NAS and backup option if you decide to backup something from the NAS to another device (local or over the network).

Feel free to ask if there are any questions :)
