Gtx980vs r9 nano

kakhat

Depends on the games you play. But a 980 will overclock better and offer a smoother gaming experience. I'd go 980.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

The Nano is a very niche card though. So if sff isn't you thing. I'd suggest the 980.

i5 2400 | ASUS RTX 4090 TUF OC | Seasonic 1200W Prime Gold | WD Green 120gb | WD Blue 1tb | some ram | a random case

Really depends on what you do.  The 980 overclocks better,  but if watercooled and overclocked by 50 mhz,  the nano is basically a fury x ( but i would recommend getting the 8+6 pin version).

Your call really.

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case

The 980 overclocked will beat the nano at 1080p. And no the Nano is not in the 980 ti's performance bracket.
