when you first set up your s6 it will ask if you want to sync with a current device, if you do then select that option and yes you can use NFC to sync everything.

I want to backup my Samsung galaxy s4 so I can transfer over all my information (apps, pictures) to my new phone.

Samsung galaxy s6.

What free programs do you recommend?

google photos can back up your pictures

and your apps are already tied to your google account.

you can also use sync feature with NFC when setting up the S6. Don't need any program.

I think Samsung has an app. I dont remember what its called, but my brother in law used it at the T Mobile store when he went from his S5 to Note. But It easily got every thing over to his new phone.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

There's also a Samsung smart switch program made just for this.

It's probably the simpler option.

Dream-phone: USB type-c (3.1), 1440p, 5-inch, removable battery, 32gb RAMdrive, sd card slot, stock Android, transparent atomic purple build, 9050 mah battery, waterproof AF, nuclear powered, ac wifi is fine.
OR a one-of-a-kind iphone that runs Android.

Hmm. I think it'll move the app's data for built-in ones like messenger and phone, maybe the browser.

Fo r the rest you'll have to rely on Google like zetzet said.
