Cant figure out why this card isnt working

Hey all, i got a fairly low end gpu the other day, (RADEON X300 SE HyperMemory PCI Graphics Card) just to use for my second display because its just for multitasking. the problem is that it simply wont work. in the driver description it says

"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

The driver trying to start is not the same as the driver for the POSTed display adapter."

and also with the video controller it says

"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

There are no compatible drivers for this device.

To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."

ive had the system auto insall the drivers and also installed them manually myself, but no luck. any help would be super awesome.

will this work for windows 10 as well?

I can't test it for myself, but drivers that work with 8.1 are pretty likely to work with 10.  I'd take the chance otherwise your x300 is paper weight.
