Best thermal paste for copper heatsink

I am planning on buying the Corsair Hydro Series H115i Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler and I am not sure what thermal paste to get, it has a copper surface rather than aluminum. So I want thermal paste that will keep my cpu cool as possible.

Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or Gelid Extreme are the best pastes on the market if you're willing to pay the price.

It comes with thermal paste already applied. All you need to do is to mount the cooler and you're done.

The best stuff is coolaboratory liquid ultra which is liquid metal and extremely dangerous

I would suggest that you get MX-4 or NT-H1 instead

The differences between TIM tend to be small. The stock stuff that comes with the cooler is fine to use.

The best stuff in terms of performance is from Coollaboratory (Liquid Pro and Ultra). However, they are metal, so extremely conductive and dangerous to your system if you mess up.

I would go for MX-4 if you really wanted aftermarket stuff. It's at a good price point.

Then I would just more or less just get whatever you can get your hands on at a reasonable price. The difference between thermal paste isn't very much.

He asked for the best stuff for a copper heatsink. Not the best stuff to literally eat his CPU cooler.

it wont "eat his CPU cooler"

where the heck did you get that from

the only metal it "eats" is aluminum

My mistake, it won't eat the copper but it will cause large amounts of problems down the line.

CLU is designed for DIEs, not heatspreaders.

thats what happens with CLP not CLU

and thats very long term stuff

if OP wants a safer solution he should just get MX-4
