Google Glass gets a rival incoming

Muddy Muxx

So i found this, looks like the competition to Google Glass has entered the arena

The question is, will this be more popular since it's not a Google product and therefore maybe will be more open to what you can do with it, without attracting the wrath of Google?

So ... more fanboys? ;D

Google glass will probably be better...

Probably, but from what i've heard Google has locked their Glasses down to what you may and may not do to them. My thought is, will these be more open to people to program them to do what they want?

I personally think this looks a lot nicer than Google Glasses.... to be fair I do wear glasses  :D

The open(ish) nature of these competitors make it so much more less concerning from a privacy and app environment stand point.

Not really, they intentionally leave it unlocked so that you can do whatever you want to it. It's still a platform that is somewhat unknown and Google want's people to mess around and do cool new things with Glass. They blocked apps like the porn one, but fair enough, they do it with smart phones and stuff anyway. This new contender looks more like something Apple would come up with, I like it  :)

perhaps but you know what, I wouldn't feel safe if someone had those on because they can do whatever they want with it without me even knowing ...
