"New devices drivers not found" during win8 installation

Hello awesome community!

So I've built a new PC for a friend, I built the pc and it booted, unfortunately I ran into a problem with the windows 8 (64 bit) installation (It's an illegal copy):

It launches and asks me to select the language and keyboard configuration or something, I selected these and clicked next. Then I got the error that there "are no drivers found".

I had the CD which came with the mobo in the disc drive and it was detected (windows 8 was on a USB drive), the drivers were just not found.

Managed to fix this by changing the sata mode from IDE to AHCI, now it shows the drivers. D:\AMD64\Win864_AHCI_AMD(1.3.1.43)\amd_sata.inf

is the one I selected from the list, the other options were:

D:\AMD64\Win764_AHCI_AMD(1.3.1.43)\amd_sata.inf

D:\AMD64\Vista64_AHCI_AMD(1.3.1.43)\amd_sata.inf

I then click next and after 10 seconds or so it shows me the error: "No new devices drivers were found. Make sure the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click ok".

I'm installing this on a 120 Gb Samsung 840 and really don't know what to do, I'd appreciate any help!

PS: I'll try another version on win8 tomorrow.

***SPECS***

A8-5600K

ASRock FM2A75 PRO4-M

Seagate Barracuda 7200 rpm (not plugged in during installation on win8)

Samsung 840 120GB

(Everything in this build is brand new.)

Since it's illegal, go spend some money.

I'm very sorry, there's a max budget and tbh this is not helping me at all. I chose this forum hoping there wouldn't be answers like this :( Let's hope the others make up for it :P

The illegality of your copy is most likely to be the cause. And besides, we don't promote piracy here, same goes for issues with it.

Doubt that. Illegal copies are identical to original. Only difference is one is illegal and the other is not.

But yes illegal copies of Windows will not be supported. I guess the OP should of not mentioned anything.
