Overclocking my Laptop and speeding it up

Hi,

I've looked everywhere on the internet and there's no good guide on overclocking a laptop. I know that laptops dont have good cooling and everything but compared to my 2 friends, my PC sucks except for that it has 2 more gb of ram and it has an actual GPU even if it's in an APU but my CPPU is HORRIBLE. It's an AMD E1-2500 with 2 cores running at 1.4 GHz. Yeah.... it sucks. My GPU part is AMD Radeon 8240 grapics, I feel like the GPU costs more than the CPU part. Even smartphone CPUs are better. Lately my PC has been running slower than when I got it and could someone give me a complete and detailed guide to making it faster. Thanks for the help.

overclocking is not the fix for a pc slowdown. fix the issue causing the lowdown rather than trying to speed the pc up (also you can really oc laptop cpus, and overclocking your gpu wont help outside of games)

Cpu: Ryzen 2700 @ 4.0Ghz | Motherboard: Hero VI x370 | Gpu: EVGA RTX 2080 | Cooler: Custom Water loop | Ram: 16GB Trident Z 3000MHz

You can't OC that CPU, and OCing isn't the fix for most slowdowns.

Your best bet is to buy a new laptop if you need more power.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.

I don't really have a lot of money so a new device really isn't an option for a year. I also did a Malwarebytes scan and it found 0 infections so virus' or malware aren't the problem. I dont have much on my computer and space is deffenitly not the issue so what is it?

Do a malware/spyware scan

Reduce the amount of program you install in C:

Do disc defragmentation

If nothing else works you should op for a cheap SSD

Also try not to run too much program at a time / program that eats RAMs (Chrome for example)
