Really nice build, but I would have gotten a 2 TB storage drive and a second monitor.

Understandable machine for the purpose(s) intended. Only thing I'd fault you on is the monitor .. should have gone for something along the lines of an MX239H if you're working in Photoshop - really brings out the colours.

Sounds like a nice build. I would have gone for a better monitor, but oh well.

I chose the monitor because i needed a low price 1080p monitor, as the only monitor i urrently have is an old CRT...lol, also pics will come when parts arrive!

Really nice build, but I would have gotten a 2 TB storage drive and a second monitor.

Will eventually add another 1tb, and a second monitor, hopefully 1440p...

Not doing serious photoshop, just for personal use and some other basic stuff.

1440p is such a nice step up and the colors are really good on my Dell U2713HM. I have a game that I always had on my laptop and decided to put it on my desktop. I was so surprised when I loaded in and saw the difference in color and the sharpness the game now had.

If you're going to those lengths to get parts like that, the monitor should be one of the main objects since it is what you will inevitable be staring at doing work  :D

Ya 1440p is defiantly the way to go, just wasn't in the budget right now, the 1080p one will eventually probably just be for my xbox, and I will just get a 1440p for this rig!

Don't worry, 1440p will come, but the 1080 is a huge upgrade from my laptop, let alone the old CRT i currently have...lol

In photography you don't necessarily want to "bring out the colors" you want a well calibrated monitor so the images you see best represent what others will see and what you'll print. Having images that look good on you monitor, but not on other media is almost useless.

That's the thing, you want to bring out the colours because you can see every spectrum you're working with so you have the best possible medium covered, poorer media will handle it fine. Working the other way around is almost useless actually. Calibration is useless when your monitor doesn't perform well to begin with .. it's like adding red paint to a car to make it go faster just because Ferrari's are known for their fashionably red cars.

Well when you say "bringing out the colors" to me that sounds like you're talking about saturation rather than accuracy. Accuracy is what you want not highly saturated colors, otherwise it won't represent the actual end product.
