Painting My Airsoft Rifle

Guessing this is best and only place to ask this type of thing.

 

So I've had my CM16 M4 Raider-L AEG Two-Tone since I bought it as I didn't have a UKARA license at the time.

 

Now that I have my license, I want to spray paint my M4 another colour.

 

I've had good experience using Plasti-Dip whilst modding my computer case/components but nothing like an Airsoft rifle..  

 

Too anyone who has good experience with painting objects like an Airsoft rifle or similar, or too anyone who has painted their rifle what brand of paint would you recommend? 

 

P.S - I do change my mind some times about colour of things so I would like it if the paint was similar like Plasti-Dip and able to peel off.

dont use plastidip for airsoft rifles.

is yours plastic or metal?

either way use a spray paint with a gloss finish for the best finishing touches

Mine is full metal, but I need to do some wearing on the gun's paint to make it look better.

We do not have to, we do not have orange tips here in the UK, if you do not have a UKARA licence the gun has to be sprayed 50% in a bright colour

 

If you have UKARA you can have it black /wood etc like a real gun, 

 

you are not allowed them out in public anyway, so its not really a problem you just put them in a gun bag to take them to the airsoft site

I only either use the rifle on private land (I have told my neighbors that I own the Airsoft rifle and that it is only an Airsoft rifle) or when I am at a skirmish.

Well carrying any RIF in public is illegal even if its painted (unless its like a nerf gun or water pistol, something clearly a toy, not an ak47) is 100% illegal to carry around the street

 

We are allowed to have realistic ones though no orange tips, since gun crime is much less in the UK so its not really much of an issue, and people can only use them on private land, or at a designated airsoft site with insurance

LoL in Canada you don't need the orange tip or anything only when you are in porting or exporting them across the border.
