8watt wireless amp

qwertywarrior

i was just checking out stuff on ebay

and i found this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/8W-2-4Ghz-Wifi-Wireless-Broadband-Amplifier-Router-Power-Range-Signal-Booster-/171043840789?pt=US_Networking_Boosters_Extenders_Antennas&hash=item27d301e315

i know the laws

1watt rule etc

the confusing thing is i know that a 2 watt amp with heatspreaders heat up a bit here is a quote from a review of a well known 1 watt amp on ebay "the AMP gets really hot... burned out after about 9 months actually..."

and iv see 4 watt amps as big as a dvd case

this small thing is 8 watts without heat spreaders

and 109 already sold as seen on the link

any body have any exp with any kinds of amps because they are supposed to be pretty hot right ?

is there a catch ?

One thing. Do not use anything over 1W. Ever.

Is needs to be, use repeaters, but using such powerful amps is going to interfere with anything wireless within at least a hundred feet.

Seriously, don't use this.

read my post again

im asking why doesn't this burn up

1 watt amps already heat up a lot

FCC's law = 1 watt limit

its not an issue
