Dual monitors

Pro_LiZzy

Alright so soon I will get new TV which I plan to connect to my PC also so I can use it as secondary monitor when I feel like using both monitors, I am wondering will dual monitors lower my PC performance and FPS in games, I don't plan to game on both monitors

One would be for game and second for browsing lets say, when I play one game and have second monitor watching LTT forums will I have lower fps in game?

I have R7 260x and I would use only one for gaming while second one would be basically for web browsing while gaming.

unlikely to make a difference, unless you had something more demanding open - like youtube, twitch.

Auxiliary displays use very few resources. Your graphics card will be working harder but not by much.

The only thing bad about dual monitors is:

1. You can never go back once you have two

2. Non-native resolution games f everything up.

What do you mean by:

"1. You can never go back once you have two"

Its addictive or something else?

I went back, from 2x (one 17") and (one 19") 1280x1024 resolution to single 24" 1080p and held well for over 8 months.

But the need for 2nd monitor has grown over me and im expecting my 2nd screen next week :D
