I'm looking into a state of the art computer and i need 32GB or above of memory. what does everyone think is the best bang for their buck when it comes to DDR4 memory?

i wouldn't have expected to see "state of the art" and "bang for your buck" in the same sentence...

Basically what the guys above said. DDR4 has horrible "bang for the buck." Most of the major improvements of DDR4 lie in power efficiency (which doesn't matter for desktop users) and memory bandwidth (although we haven't hit the limits of DDR3 yet). There is no need for DDR4 at the moment and there won't be for some time.
