"Best". Dual 980 would be great, without making it insanely expensive

dual 970's or 980's get the 980's if u can because IMO amd is not ideal they are hot are not as optimized as nvidia, also not as good quality and nvidia has better features/drivers

in order of performance (im only doing nvidia because im not sure about amd at the moment with the price changes.

 

dual 980 (best performance)

dual 970 (best price perf)

980 (cheapest but good enough for most games at 60fps)

Monitor types would help two, gotta plan getting several adapters depending.

 

2 980's or 970's depending on what you can afford.
