4670k, one core hotter than the others?

Is this normal?

Well, I'm an idiot and I posted my motherboard temps. xD

Anyway, one core gets 39-40C on average whereas the other cores are working at 34-36 on average.

one core will always be hotter on any CPU that has multiple cores

one core is working harder than the other ones most of the time. it's completely normal.

Not really sure, I never actually leave it fully idle xD, but when I browse it's as it says in the OP.

Yup, my cores are never always the same temperature.  Sometimes seeing as much as a 10C disparity between cores, but this is rare and only during stress testing.  This is 100% normal.  Anything more than 10C is not normal though.

First core is the hottest right? Sometimes its 4rd etc. But mostly OS puts stress to first core before dividing between them. Temp difference between my cores is around 4C.

I've had one out of my six cores always have a 3-6C lead out on the others, pretty similar with the Haswell's I've built as well although they tend to hop all over the damn place under load.

Completely normal.
