Enermax Fans

Ghost

Well the specs of the fans look amazing, especially the "loudness".

I know they must my slightly louder than 8dB because its impossible to naturally get 8dB iirc but it implies they are very quiet.

They also seem to be one of the few white fans out there.

Has anyone had any experience with them?

They could be a really good option if you are looking for a white fan.

Enermax makes the best psu's next to Seasonic. Fans are good because they are just ripped out of the PSU, I don't like the rest they are selling :D

To me the best looking fans are NB E-loops, SP120's and Bitfenix Specter Pro's

I've got one that came with my PSU, I've used it a couple of times, goes every colour under the sun and is reasonably silent. It's nowhere near as quiet as my multiple noctuas though. I think they basically made up 8db, that is insane.

I have those exact fans, at 100% load they are actually quite loud, definitely not the 14 dba they claim. Also at low voltages they have some bearing or motor noise that is quite noticeable and annoying. They do look fantastic with the white LEDs turned on however.

i5 3570K • 16 GB Corsair Vengeance LP • 2x Asus GTX 670 SLI • Asus Sabertooth z77 • Asus PCE-AC66 • Crucial M4 256GB • Corsair AX 850 • Sound Blaster Xz • Fractal Define R4 • Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2 • Dell U2713HM • Sennheiser RS 180 • Fanatec Porsche GT2 Wheel • Clubsport Pedals

Wrong. If Noctua did use colored fans I would use them

You shouldn't rely on specs, most companies over rate them for what they actually are.

I would also use them too if they didn't come in those colors. They need to add more color variation in their fans to match people builds. :)

But then they would instantly become bad.

He is saying the colour has a direct influence on performance.

Didn't you know that?

Like how blue fans make your PC ~20C cooler? and Red fans make them 2x fast? and Green fans save energy?
