Kingston Cloud vs Corsair 2100 vs Corsair 1500 vs other?

shayned1997

I am only advising you spend a little more and not get headphones that are tacky, break-easy pieces of shit. Why would you want a headset? Virtual surround sound is plain shite and usually gaming headsets are retardedly bassy and have close to no midrange. If that wasn't bad enough, then there's the bloatware you get to install for your well wasted $100.

Fine, don't accept my help. But you're gonna regret it.

I can bet you haven't even used the HyperX Cloud's, they're not half bad. and you said "break-Easy pieces of shit", the Cloud's have build quality on par with Beyer's DT770/880/990s.

EDIT: forgot to comment on the rest of your comment. Bloatware? what bloatware? You don't download anything for the Cloud's haha. Maybe you should stop being so ignorant. It's obvious a Headphone + Mic combo is better, but for $80, not always.

The cloud headset has the same tech used my beyerdynamic, Also there is a thing called using an EQ to balance things to your liking.

Now im watching Logan's review of them and he thinks you should use a DAC for it is that necessary. What do you guys think

Dac's don't power headphones, amp's do. Some of what logan likes to preach is untrue, the headset will be fine most likely from your onboard.

It's what turns the signal from your PC (the digital signal) to the signal that your headphones can replay. (Analog)

Hence the name: Digital to Analog Converter

Usually the better the DAC, the better signal you give to your amplifier, = "better sound"

Better dac's offer less distortion + less loss in audio quality etc.   Good amplifiers also help with this.  (Better ones usually offer more power, less distortion etc.)

Onboard should be enough really. If the G45 you have can't drive more than 32 ohm headphones then it's not going to sound as it should, it all depends on the amp the board has (checked the website, it didn't say).

Try them, if they sound soft or muddy, you can get a USB dac+amp combo for cheap, nothing super fancy, just the correct amount of power.
