Would you invest in a sound booth if you were a Full time Youtuber or Twitch Streamer

Didnt know where to post this topic so i apologize in advance if this isnt the right place

Recently i came a across a twitch streamer that invested in a Sound Booth Big enough to fit his Setup in, this made me question the idea of others investing around 1k-10k on a Sound booth for the intentions of streaming and or gaming commentaries. I post this here because the WAN Show came to mind, we know linus loves a silent computer, so why not a silent show.I hope he sees this and leaves his input on Sound booth for videos.

It depends. If I were purely a podcaster and I made enough from it, absolutely. If I was a gamer, NOPE.

No. Sound booths are for super precision recording or ear health checks (and other uses, like killing people).

A more simple wallet friendly way is to put acoustic foam around the area you're recording to reduce excess reverberation and snapback.

Well he gets payed for making videos so I would invest on getting my content as good as possible, I wouldn't get a sound booth but If you have the money it is not a bad idea.

Build one yourself with MDF board sure but a per-fabricated one would be insanely expensive as they'd likely clam it's sound engineered but it's very likely not and a waste of money IMO then.

I'd do what Totalbiscuit & Linus have, a small little mic + sound-dampening foam for podcasts.

I built one for my little brother years ago. He had a recording studio going on and he wanted to be taken more legitimately. It was really nice. It had a plexiglass window, we used insulation in between the 2x4s and eggcrate material for the walls and ceilings. We used LED lighting and had a quiet fan in a hole in the roof. But...it still got hot AF in there. I couldn't imagine having a PC in there as well. I'd highly recommend routing the cables through a grommet and leaving the PC outside of the booth.
