Will my CPU Fry soon ?

Yo Guys, 

 

My intel Core i3 2100 has been running on 80+ *C for last 2 days ; so is it gonna fry soon ? 

 

and i want a good i5 Processor for Gaming and mostly HD Editing (Montages) ; all i got through google is Intel Core i5 4670 .. is it a good one ?

Have you tried another program to check the temp, to make sure it's not getting a false reading?

 

Also, is the CPU cooler's fan still working?

what the hell are you doing to your cpu? are you running without a cooler? is the fan off???

 

even with my overclocked dualcore and it being 38ish C in my room my cpu never goes past 65c

Pff, I've been running my phenom at 90+ degrees for years.

the problem is my Thermal paste was cheap it stopped doing its job.. thats whats causing the high temp ... i would buy it but 3 days holidays here no comp shop is open.. 

 

BTW i asked for a i5 suggestion
