[TechPowerUp] [Guru3D] GT 740: It seems there's a new rebrand afoot.

The NVIDIA GT 740 is seemingly a rebranded GTX 650. The model in question is a Zotac card. So, 384 CUDA cores like the previously mentioned 600 series GPUs and compatibility with GeForce Experience, making me believe it is more a 650 than a 640. The cards come with 1GB, 2GB or 4GB of DDR3 or GDDR5 memory. Zotac's cards come in two form factors -- full height and half height. I may just buy one of the EVGA ones myself, I mean it's not too bad.

EDIT: The 4GB SuperClocked model is available on Newegg for $119.99. Considering the amount of VRAM, I wouldn't be surprised if a 2GB model slotted in at $89.99-$99.99.

I especially like the EVGA SuperClocked cooler. All of them are bound to cool the card well anyways. It's funny how EVGA are offering a 4GB version in GDDR5 flavor. 4K Gaming anyone? :P

The EVGA looks pretty cool and to be honest, these could be pretty powerful little cards but if I was in the market then I'd save a little extra and get the Maxwell GTX 750

Agreed on that. Or if you are particularly thrifty, search eBay for a GTX 650 2GB. You will probably be able to get them for less.
