Phone Options

I am looking for a phone that is $340 (USD) or less that can compete with an iPhone 7 (32GB).

I am reluctant to go used, although I am willing to consider refurbished as long as it's from a reliable source.

Please also note I live in New Zealand, so I would have to use the global version.

Current PC: i5-3570, Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H, 12 GB RAM @1333 MHz, Sapphire RX 460. 240GB Crucial BX500, 500GB Seagate HDD, Antec Truepower Classic 650W

Peripherals: Old Logitech mouse, Redragon K552-R Kumara, LG Flatron W2353V, Sony ZX770BN headphones.

Laptop: Dell Latitude E5470 upgraded by my store (i5 6300U, 8GB DDR4 @2133, 500GB SSD)

Are you buying from the US?
If not, don't quote USD pricing, it's not really relevant to you.

Please link us to the store(s) from which you intend to buy from

This is so we can make recommendations that are guaranteed to be both available and within your budget at the same time.

Awareness is key. Never enough, even in the face of futility. Speak the truth as if you may never get to say it again. This world is full of ugly. Change it they say. The only way is to reveal the ugly. To change the truth you must first acknowledge it. Never pretend it isn't there. Never bend the knee.

Last time I used NZD I only go told things that were in USD, even though I said it was NZD. I am not buying from the US. I am just looking for some general recommendations.

As long as its from the past 2-3 years it will likely be available. Here is a link to a local store if you want. I am simply asking for recommendations, not the be all and end all answer to my problems.

Last time I asked (a couple of years ago) I got many recommendations for the Pocophone F1, even though I just said my price point. I just wanted some idea of some good options.

USD pricing doesn't help you though, as you won't be using it, so not waiting for someone who'll steer you in the right direction won't really be much help.

Pricing varies drastically from country to country. So if you're not importing it, looking at USD pricing doesn't really matter.

@huilun02's method is the only way you'll get accurate help.

Honestly, looking at your budget you're not really going to find a competitor to the iPhone 7. The phones in your price bracket are solidly lower mid tier or upper entry level. The Redmi Note 9s is probably your best bet if it supports the bands you need.

You like wasting your time on suggestions that are either unavailable or not within your budget? Why?

I said what my budget was in my original post. And I also know the iPhone 7 is way above my price range from the store, I'm buying it from someone. (Yes its second hand, but I know its been cared for and not used much)

If you are okay with Huawei then consider this: Huawei Y9 Prime. This one has Google Apps.
