A simple application installer for Win10 WPF .NET app

I tried Microsoft's one built into VS (WiX or whatever its called) but its overly complicated and I cannot get it to compile at all, it just does nothing.

I would like to use a simple one with a nice GUI, I just want to add the files and set the name and version strings.

Any recommendations?

Try msix. It's a new and modern packaging tool which aims to replace old .exe/.msi installers.

I used Inno Set Up and it seemed pretty straight forward.

Seems to have been around for awhile, but I don't really know much about it.
