Upgraded and

I booted after getting my 3600X installed on my MSI gaming pro carbon x370. I do indeed have the ryzen 3000 series beta bios installed. I booted, got into BIOS, said aye fuck it I’ll put XMP on, and alas, now no post. Turns on, the RGB on the motherboard doesn’t, and the debug light is on for the CPU. What now?

this means that your cpu is not detected or has failed. you could try reseating, reflashing bios or clearing cmos.

Clear the cmos

If you boot.

Set the soc to 1.1 and dram to 1.35 and then set the frequency with 3200 ( if 3600 ) or 2933 ( if something like 3200 or 3000 )

If it boots , use memtest86 and OCCT to verify that it's stable

If it is, go for 3200 / 3600 etc. The. Use memtest86 and OCCT

Good luck.
