Will getting a VPN help my ping and gameplay??

I play scum on a server that is in europe and i am in canada the game doesnt  have too many servers around here that have enough people playing in them so i play on a europian server and my ping is always too high if i get a vpn will that help please let me know and plz let me know what vpn i should use and if it free or if i have to pay for it Thank you

P.s i keep getting kicked off the gmae or events because it says i have too high ping.So basicaly i am asking if getting a VPN give me lower ping and help out.

Well, no, if anything it'll make it worse.

It'll appear that you're connecting from somewhere else but you're still in the same place physically.
