Bottleneck? If so what should i do?

Ait, ive had my pc for 2 years now. Its home built and i started off with a gtx 1050, i3 8350k and 8gb ram.

Now i have this:

i3 8350k

GTX 1070

32 gb ram

Iv'e had issues lately while im on servers in fivem for gta 5. I get insane frame drops, down to 30 fps.

I was wondering if it might be a bottle neck, and should i down grade to a 1060 or like a 970 if so? Kinda going cheap this time😅

Honestly you shouldn't be experiencing these as far as I am concerned, is this a clean/new windows install? did you upgrade the GPU at any point and forgot to DDU?

What do you do while gaming? As in... is there a lot of multi-tasking or just the game running?

if you actually have a bottleneck you still don't need a new card, your cpu will just be pegged at 100%

That probably does bottleneck, but what you're describing seems awfully more extreme than I'd guess...Have you checked temps while under load? I wonder if your GPU/CPU is throttling
