pc crashes while playing GTA

NorthLake

I had this problem about a month ago, and it magically went away. This evening it occured again four times in a row.

After playing about 15 minutes of GTA my pc crashes. Both my screens go black and the audio cuts out. The rgb stays on, and fans don't change speed (meaning they don't go to 100%).

The last observation leads me to believe that it's something other than overheating. I just don't know what it could be.

This hasn't happened in any other game.

I tried checking event logs, but I don't see anything crashing in either applications or system.

Here is my pc:

I haven't tried ctrl + alt + del, but both my screens go black, even though gta is only running on one of them.

Try this go into your Radeon Software

Go to Performance
Tuning
Switch to manual

Frequency(MHz)
300 600 918 1167 1239 1282 1326 1400

Voltage(mV)
750 769 881 1100 1187 1150 1150 1050

Also try going to Display and disabling HDCP Support

I tried it with your recommendations, and sadly it happened again. I did seem to take longer this time, though.

I also tried some things: ctrl + alt + delete doesn't work. The screens don't just go black, they turn off. I get no response if I try to ping from another device. Suffice to say Windows fully crashes.
