Usually RGB cooler's come with an USB header to plug into the motherboard to control the RGB. If it doesn't have one check if you installed a 4 pin RGB connector

It has a 4 pin rgb connector which i connected to my CPU_LED header on my motherboard, for some reason it doesnt look like the usual header for RGB but on gigabytes website it says that is it for my mobo, so yes its connected

Can't you check if you can change it via the bios?. There should be an RGB fusion tab there.

Okay, I found the problem:

Your Deepcool Gammaxx L240 uses 12V RGB. It means only ONE colour can be assign to the cooler and fan at any given time.

What you can do is manually set the motherboard RGB by left clicking the motherboard in the RGB Fusion App, then select the LED_C1 or C2 and adjust the colour and lighting style for your Cooler manually. You only have limited option with 12V RGB cooler.

So because it has a 12v header to can't use any flash or pulse or anything like that it HAS to be static?

No, it does not need to be static, but you NEED to select the SPECIFIC RGB header within RGB Fusion.

In his screenshots, he is selecting LED_C1, and the other options (e.g. pulse / flash / color cycle, etc...) should be available.

Also, can you post a screenshot of what YOU see in RGB Fusion?

No. You can set Pulse, Flash, Double Flash, Colour Spectrum and Off aside from Static.

Interesting....

What version BIOS are you using with your motherboard?

Did you download the latest RGB Fusion through the Gigabyte website, or are you using the one included on the DVD that came with the motherboard?
