CPU spikes

Daris17

Hey,

I have strange problem my laptop experiencing cpu spikes 90-100%.

Laptop model: lenovo legion y520

CPU: Intel core i7-7700HQ

GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti

Intel(R) HD Graphics 630

Motherbord: Lenovo Provence-5R1

RAM: Samsung M471A1K43CB1-CRC DDR4 8GB

1200Mhz

Storage: Samsung MZVLW128HEGR-000L2 128GB

WCD WD10SPCX-24HWST1

1TB.

So i have this computer already 3 years and about 1 year ago i started notice some cpu spikes when im gaming, i dont use hight graphics so its not this problem because i get these spikes even when someone invites my to their lobby in csgo or starts playing game on steam and i receive notification. So i thought maybe some malware or something so i check for viruses, didnt helped, i did sfc scan, also nothing, performed clean windows reinstallation, also nothing and finally i changed thermal paste, and i was dissapointed because it didnt solve the problem so im asking you guys maybe any of you had simillar problem before and found solution?

Dude same laptop same problem. I think it is a lenovo problem cause I checked most possibilities.

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Try updating bios it helped me to kinda reduce CPU usage also add a windows defender exception for all your game folders and steam folders.
