Why is my R5 2600 idling so high!?

Hi, i have just adjusted my fan curves but kept the cpu fan one as default. I have the ryzen 5 2600 and using the stock cooler on it. It usually idles at around 38/42 degrees c but now its like 48-56 degrees. Does anyone know why??? Thanks

thats perfectly normal temps for the stock cooler.

in fact those arent very high temps at all. it going from 38-48 degrees is expected as the cooler now has heated up from start, and windows is doing it usual stuff in the background.

Yeah that is a common trait with the 212 evo.

The black version has a much better system. So does the freezer 34 esports

I actually have the hyper 212 black edition on a 5930k when it got moved to be used as a secondary system. Quite pleased with how well it works.
