Ryse - Son Of Rome

StephenHolts

Hi There Everyone.

Hoping someone can maybe help.

I got Ryse - Son Of rome on a good deal and recommended by a friend.

The problem is in the begging, im having massive FPS issues.

no matter what resolution i put on or Quality it stays around 40s to high 50s but never uses more than 50% GPU usage.

Has anyone had this issue?

My Rig Specs Below.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: 1080ti

PSU: 750w

MBD: Asrock X470

Have you updated Al drivers and firmware? Have you made sure no background task is taking up resources?

could be a cpu bottleneck, the cryengine from back than does not really benefit from multiple cores, but scales with high core clock.

could you check your cpu usage, even individual cores?

Huh yeah, your GPU really just doesn't seem to care.

Have you tried a DDU/new driver install on the GPU side?

  • 7 months later...

Sorry if you already found a fix, but if not I fixed it by changing the Low Latency mode from "on" to "ultra" in the program settings of the game (found in nvidia control panel)
