Headphones recommendation

Snotburger

Hey guys,

I'm here today because I'm looking for a pair of headphones. I'm going to be using these for gaming and music (primarily gaming).

I currently own a pair of Superlux HD 681 and I was wondering, for around $150US what pair of headphones to buy.

I like bass, but I don't really mind what kind of sound signature the headphones have. The main thing I'm looking for is imaging and how well I'll be able to pinpoint where sound is coming from (in games).

Anything that is in that budget and is enough of a step-up that it justifies the upgrade.

Thanks for any recommendations!

If you live in the US the Sennheiser HD 58x are the way to go one of its main strengths are its imaging . And bass while doesn't slap is serviceable. Another headphone that is great for bass but not the best for gaming decent imaging wide soundstage is the Fidelio X2 hr. Or if you want a closed back a DT 770 or the one more triple driver over ear.
