Help choose 240Hz monitor!!

Rihijs

I want buy 240hz monitor for gaming some time wach tv show.

All esport games can hit easy 240hz(i play lol, csgo and overwach), but AAA game from 110fps to 150fps

My pc: R5 3600, rtx 2060 super, 32 gb ram, 1tb nvme.

My max budget 350 euro

I found 2 options:

1.Dell AW2518Hf

2.Acer XF252QXbmiiprzx

Qestions:

1.Wich monitor is better?

2.This monitor freesync work well on nvidia cards?

3.Its ok play games on 240Hz if game run around 110fps to 150fps?(AAA games)

Info!

Why i dont take ips monitor!!

Becouse from ips monitors my eyes hurt. Its dont metter what ips model or brand i use.

And i wear prescription eyeglasses. My eye doctor sad to not use ips panels but stick to tn, becouse on tn panels colors not so vibrant and so colorful.

Like ... buy IPS and turn down colors ? Or get VA one which generally have less vibrant colors but not so terrible viewing angles as TN (although they might be too slow for FPS games).

Can't really recommend you either of those, TN must die.

And i'd generally recommend to just get some 144Hz display anyway, 240Hz are pointless.

Tag or quote me so i see your reply

I would suggest u look at the following list. Sorted to represent 'quality' gaming monitors based on test results, rather than just those that have the specs but lack image quality.

https://www.rtings.com/user/ratings/mQInJLi7qiX8GQ

For 240hz i would suggest either the :

https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/acer/nitro-xv273x

 or the

https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/hp/omen-x-25f

However i believe both to be outside ur budget.

If a display hasnt been thoroughly tested and reviewed (subjective overviews of specs dont count), then it really shouldnt be recommended as such recommendation will be based purely on specs, which are always misleading and incomplete, and / or subjective 1st hand opinion...which is subjective.

CPU: Intel i7 3930k w/OC & EK Supremacy EVO Block | Motherboard: Asus P9x79 Pro  | RAM: G.Skill 4x4 1866 CL9 | PSU: Seasonic Platinum 1000w Corsair RM 750w Gold (2021)|

They're both quite solid, I tend to see AW one for quite good prices actually. I mean both are priced well. Also know people who use it. The Acer one is nice it also has strobing at 240Hz too which can be neat. But yeah always good to check reviews like post above for more detail since specs alone don't tell everything.

There are better ones yes but cost much more.
