New GPU for my existing rig

VEXICUS

Ok, so I have a pretty decent build consisting of r7 3700x and 980ti. The exact build is in my signature. The 980ti is now dead. IDK, it won't post. Cleaned and repasted it. Still the problem persists. Even checked this on my x58 system.

Now here's what I am planning.

I'll use the rx580 from my secondary system and purchase another rx580 and run them in crossfire. I can get a matching RX580 for $70 from a miner.

I mostly play csgo, Witcher 3, Apex, sottr and some emulator games at 1440p.

I have come across a few videos and they got me thinking...

Rx580 crossfire getting similar performance to rtx 2080 in games that support crossfire.

Dual gpu games and programs are getting less and less supported.

Today it is more worth to buy a top end GPU rather than run a dual...

Having a budget of around $150-250 for the new gpu.

I know that I can get a Vega 56 for around $230 and 5600xt for around $280.

But still, I can get better performance than them for way cheaper. This might be the new meta.
