SSD not showing in BIOS as bootable drive

Certos

Soooo,

I have a Dell XPS 8700 and I just got a new 500GB Samsung 860 EVO SSD for it. My BIOS is on the most up to date version, i've downloaded the firmware for the SSD, formatted it and made it a new volume. Everywhere on my computer, this SSD is recognized except for my bootable drives in the BIOS. The hard disk section of my BIOS doesn't show either my original HDD or my SSD as an option to boot to. Should I try going back to the BIOS update before this?

Below is a screenshot of my drives in Disk Management.

To add, i've reseated the data and power cables multiple times and changed the positioning of the drive, to no avail.
