GPU Upgrade

BaconPie

Hey lovely people, so I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU to a 1660 super. Do you think the soon releasing RX 5500/XT is worth waiting for, or is it just not gonna be a 1660 super competitor?

the rx5500 will be a 1650 super competitor. there are rumours of a january launch of rx5600, which will be a 1660s competitor. but you might not want to wait so long for some rumours.

We don't really have a solid answer. What we know based on OEM units is that the 5500 is real decent competition against the 1650 super, so ideally the 5500 XT comes in around the 1660 super/ti

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

That's the thing, I've seen people compare the 5500 to the 1650S/Ti, but so far I haven't been able to get a solid guess for the XT variant. Thanks for the input tho.

Well there's actually performance data so it's not a guess at least

Also they haven't made a 1650 ti
