Enermax ETS-T50 Axe experiences vs. TR True Spirit DIrecnt & Brocken3

Vejnemojnen

Hello. From the three coolers (Enermax ETX-T50 Axe, ThermalRight True Spirit 140 Direct, Alpenföhn Brocken 3) Which would be the best in terms of noise levels, and pure performance? All of them have 140mm fans,  similar specs. I'd pick the Brocken3 personally, but the ETS-T50 looks nice as well.

Any direct comparisons? Or personal experiences-recommendations? Thanks in advance for any input!

Enermax: 94cfm, 230W, personally don't like enermax stuff but eh, seems like a decent fin density
ThermalRight: 73cfm, 200W, thin boi, probably the worst
Brocken: 60cfm, 220W, thick as frig, looks pretty good but never heard of them

The fans all have the same max noise level. Would probably go with the Brocken as well even though that fan is garbo. The heatsink looks good enough so long as you can fit it. You can always put a better fan on there.

@ChintzyPC Thanks for the info. I guess I'll rather keep recommending the Brocken3. Fans can be changed, always : )

At 77mm thick, the TS140 Direct doesn't have the thinnest heatsink. The thinnest heatsink of the 3 is from the ETS-T50 AXE at 65mm.

There's little to no regulation on how tdp is measured between manufacturers and they're only sometimes useful for comparing between that manufacturers own cooler lineups.

The ETS-T50 AXE is the worst of the 3 and the fan it has is alright -- not extremely quiet.

The TS140 Direct has the quietest fan and trades blows with but isn't as consistent with performance as the Brocken 3.

@Vejnemojnen Why are you looking at these coolers in particular?

@WoodenMarker Thanks a lot for the assistance and links. It would not be for me, rather, a mate asked which one should he pick. He ended up opting for the Enermax with 140mm fans. I'll be interested in his experiences (now with 2600, later he'll switch to 3700x when prices of 3rd gen sink a bit)

;)
