MSI PS42 Prestige

MSI PS42 Prestige 14" - 8th gen Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 - 256GB SSD.

Any thoughts? Looking to possibly buy it, cost around $1200. should I go for it? Some people recommended a few models from HP and ASUS with similar configurations. main use would be for college work (which includes some coding), light gaming, and general media streaming... I really need the long battery (9 hrs or higher), I have days where I'll be out for 10-12 hours... other recommendations are appreciated.

Many cons, wouldn't recommend it personally. Also 1050MQ config runs a bit hot

 

Where are you from? Budget? Any preference on weight and display size? Mind low sRGB display and non-upgradeable RAM?
