Unexpectedly have time to kill in the days leading up to the convention, what do?

So I had been planning on my friend accompanying me on this trip and we were just going to meander around VC and entertain ourselves, but he had to cancel last minute and now I'm worried I'll just sit in my hotel room playing games or something. Does anyone have any suggestions on things to do? Or want to meet up and smoke some beers and drink some weed? (Yup). I'll probably still end up just wandering around the city for a while but I figured I'd post here and see what I catch. I'm 26, a guy and flying in from Cincinnati on Wednesday then taking a red eye back Monday night. I am tempted to bring my Warhammer 40k army as well...
