The difference in gaming is not noticeable to all but the upper tier professional gamer, and most likely not them either.  I am sure someone will respond immediately that they can see the difference between 1ms and 2ms.  Like the guy who can tell 240Hz or who can hear his $1000 speaker cables.

For 99.99% of us non-mutants, it affects our gameplay not at all.  Seeing as it takes you 100's of milliseconds to respond as a human...

Why would a couple ms on the monitor matter?

I have the system to run these monitors, So I'm thinking at spending about 4 to 500$ on a gsync monitor with those specs( not sure if I want a ta tn or IPS pannenl I dont perfer curved panels either).these will be used for gaming streaming editing ect.... If you can share your experiences with monitors like this or if you have any recommendations it would help alot!  Also I know there are freesybt that can run gsync is it harder to set up or would it be Better to just tk stick with a gsync?

"I have the system to run these monitors, "

What monitors?

Edit:  Oh, you want us to link you monitors with those specs and discuss?  Why not find a couple and ask what we think of them?  Start by doing a little legwork.

MSI Optix MAG27CQ - the best purchase I've ever made.

G-Sync compatibility has issues in some games, but you won't ever notice tearing at 144+ fps... if you reach that :)

The screen is beautiful, lots of workspace, more details in games, sharp colours, minimal ghosting (only visible in UFO test).

The only annoying thing is it's "sleep mode".

It keeps blinking this blue light at night so I either have to turn off the monitor completely from the back (inconvenient positioning) or put something in front of the light to block it when I sleep.

Also I'm asking if you use them or have used a few and what you perfer. I know Asus strix are suppose to be the best but they come with a major price tag. Msi seem to have in between reviews. Also pixio since it's a newer company was wondering if anyone has use them?

I'd look into 1440p ultrawides too.  1ms is snake oil but if you have to have it, you'll go TN panel most likely.

I would check out rtings.com, they do the best monitor reviews. I would recommend VA or IPS with a real 80% response time of less than 7ms. Advertised response time isn’t standardized so it’s basically worthless. Also, I would look for a monitor that has 350 or greater nitts brightness.

Why do you say its snake oil. I get it's such a small difference between 1 and 4m. I have read post that say it can make a big difference and others say you cant tell.

Another question that msi monitor @Fr4nt1s3k suggested is curved but not to the extreme of others I've seen. Is that kind of a middle ground between falt and curved?

It's conveniently curved :) I can't imagine it being so big and flat now.

I just bought the dell S2719DGF. It is surprisingly amazing for a TN panel. I hardly notice it's a TN unless im right under the monitor and looking up at it. It can also OC to 155hz but by default it's at 144hz

@RotoCoreOne I've been debating getting that alot of people said it had issue when showing darker areas of the game or something that's black looks distorted. I take it you haven't noticed any of that? That was my first choice since it's cheaper than most.
