Possible to Hot swap / plug sata HDD on ryzen boards?

I was wondering if it's possible to hot swap / hot plug sata hdd's on something like an MSI B450-M board?

Just so I'm sure I understand, we're talking ability to pull out an HDD from a sata cable and put another on it, while the PC is running?

yep, that works fine on almost any modern system.
