You really needed 2 2080Ti .. 3000 dollars for your graphics in your gaming machine.  You could have bought a new computer plus monitor with that money then when 3080 comesa out you can buy that.

At what resolution are you actually running? Maybe it's disabled if you are already at 4k? This feature is basically just super sampling AA that renders the game at a higher resolution and then downscales it to whatever your actual resolution is. IMO with dual 2080Tis you should disable both DLSS and shading rate but give AA like a full MSAA x8 or whatever is highest.

Here are the problems with DLSS:

I heard it completely blurrs the game and isnt all that well optimized right now as it's "Deep Learning".

Problems with SSAA:

F#cks your framerate.

2022? Really? Do you think Nvidia is just going idle for 2 years for, like, letting AMD take over with 2 newer generations while they just sit there?

Nah, your 3k+ graphic hardware is going to be dated and largely underperforming for DXR in 6 months.

Did you seriously make an account just to react like this to my highly exaggerated comment?

Also yes, Nvidia currently does sit and relax while waiting for amd. Why should they give us more performance or lesser prices when they don't need to? Ofc they are already working on new generations but that's not the point.
