game to display another monitor

I've got a tv that i'm using as a second screen (It's not for dual monitor games, its for console/ pc games on the couch)

So how do i make it so that the games launch on the second screen, without making it my main screen?

Games often have a setting like (monitor 1 or 2) that corresponds with your monitors in Windows

Simply run your game in windowed mode and drag it to the other screen, or change the monitor it runs on in the games' settings.
