Monitor Vs Smart Phone

cubies1982

Hey,

Whenever I am using my smart phone the graphics and text always looks so crisp compared to my 24" monitor display at 1080p; Is there a way to make my monitor look as crisp as my smart phone? Why is there such a noticeable difference?

because the smarphone more or less has a fivefold increase in pixels per inch. a 1080p screen on a phone has the same ammount of pixels squeezed into a smaller area as the monitor with the exact same amount of pixels.

resolution describes the ammount of pixels, not the overall pixels per area of screen.

Pixel density is the reason

Get a 4k display 24" and it will look crisper, other than that no option

Yup.

That is a more accurate picture of how crisp the image will look close to the screen
