How to use 3T hard drive in Windows7

I bought a new hard drive,because my 1T hard drive has been full already,but when I connect it to my Nas,the Windows7 do not read it,how can I solve this problem!

Did you make sure to format it first? Is a connector loose somewhere? What kind of NAS are you using?

NAS model? If it's old enough, it may not support GPT format (for drives larger than 2TB)

I'm sure I formated it.And it's working when I connect it to another PC.That's PC is running the Windows10.
