Very good pc specs but low fps in video games.

Kroniken

Hello guys.
So basically I built my new gaming pc a few days ago, and I built everything correctly and my pc works just fine.
The only problem is that I barely get 60 fps on games I played so far (BF1, PUBG, Overwatch).
I play on 1080p resolution.
My pc specs are:
Vega 56
Ryzen 5 2600
8 GB RAM Single Channel (i know, this was a huge mistake because of my lack of research)
256 M.2 SSD
1TB HDD
Asus b350 Plus
EVGA 650 BQ
Please if someone can help me this is my first build.
Thank you in advance.

What speed is your ram? dual channel may help being ryzen, but ram speed should be more significant due to the core interconnect being based off ram speed

I am somewhat baffled that you went so far as to get a Ryzen CPU with a Vega 56, but skimped out on only 8GB of RAM.

Ryzen CPU's are heavily RAM dependent and there are reports of single channel going as far as halving the performance.

That said, this may sound obvious, but are you turning on V-Sync?
